New Coach Appointed for Ethiopian U-17 Women’s National Team

The Ethiopian Football Federation has appointed Rawda Ali as the new head coach of the Ethiopian U-17 Women’s National team. In February, the team will face South Africa in a World Cup qualifier tie.

Rawda was a former national team player. Her club career saw her play for Yeka Micheal, Queens College, Ethiopia Bunna, Mirt Gebeya, and St. George.

After hanging up her boots she started her coaching career by working in several football academies and then became an assistant coach at St. George and Women U-17 national team. She is currently the head coach of the St. George U-17 women’s team.
