Two of Ethiopia’s giant clubs are taking the famous Sheger Derby to Dubai.
St. George and Ethiopia Bunna will travel to Dubai for a friendly game. This offers them an opportunity to get in touch with the large number of the Ethiopian diaspora living in the UAE. In addition to that the clubs can sell their merchandise, promote their brand and offer the players a big stage to showcase their talents.

“ The clubs will be able to get international experience “ stated Fitsum Adnew, a FIFA accredited match agent during a press conference to announce the event.
The two clubs haven’t played a Premier League game in Addis Ababa for the past 3 years and now will travel out of the country to promote the biggest match in Ethiopian football.

The clubs will leave for Dubai on February 23 and are expected to have training at Ballers training ground the next day. The much anticipated encounter will then take place on February 25.
