Founder of Tilafok.com, Girmachew Kebede is a sports journalist with more than a decade of newsroom and on-air experience. He served as Deputy Editor-in-Chief at Ethio-Sport newspaper, was host and News Editor for the Bisrat Sport radio show, and worked as a football analyst with Kuas Meda. He co-created the Rigore sports show. He was also sports and political stringer for Voice of America’s Horn of Africa Service. His articles were selected among the Top 10 in Africa by the AIPS Sport Media Awards in 2018 and 2022.
