Ethiopia’s oldest and most successful club St. George have added another trophy to their cabinet by winning the 19th edition of the Addis Ababa City Cup. This is the club’s 8th cup win. 

St. George managed to beat Mechal 2-1 in the final. Ashenafi Getachew and Addisu Atula got the goals for St. George with Charles Musige scoring the only goal for Mechal. 

Ethiopia Bunna finished third and was awarded the bronze medal after beating Ethio Electric 1-0 on Saturday thanks to Nathanael Frew’s goal.
