Ethiopia Bunna has appointed Israel Degefa as the new chairman of the club following a 40 year stint by Lieutenant Fekade Mamo.

The assembly made the decision to elect Israel during Saturday’s meeting.

The election came after continued protest from fans to overhaul the club leadership. Previous meetings were not possible due to disagreements.

Ethiopia Bunna has navigated difficult times in recent years due to financial issues and dipping results. The Ethiopia Bunna faithful hope that the new changes will usher in a new era of good results at the club.
